Rome 9-10 June 2016
Exosomes are small extracellular vesicles, which are often represented as bubbles containing proteins , fats and nucleic acids . Released by cells in the microenvironment constitute a sort of ” shuttle ” to transfer biochemical and molecular information .
In recent years it turned increasingly clear that exosomes are an extraordinary communication tool , and between cells and how these tiny bubbles are involved in many physiological and pathological processes . AICC in 2016 will dedicate to this subject a monothematic conference . During the international conference and national experts will highlight the role of exosomes in cancer and in other neurodegenerative and infectious diseases , highlighting also the potential in diagnostics and therapy.
